-First of all you will have to download two new programs (& it will help if you already have photoshop). Photobie and DVDVideoSoft.
-Once you have downloaded and installed those two programs, you will have to download the video you would like to make a gif out of. I will be using this video.
-Once its downloaded open up DVDVideoSoft or Free Studio Manager (It has two names) and click on the 10th option Free Video to JPG Converter.
-Click Browse and choose the video you want.
-In the Extract section choose 'Every Frame'
-Choose your output folder then press Extract.
-Once its finished extracting, open Photobie.
-Click Layer>Import images as new layers on current photo pannel. Like this.
-Choose the frames you would like. I will be using 4960-4996.
-Click GIF_Animation>Animation Control Panel. Like this.
-Click on 'Frame 1' and in the Delay box write 0. Like this.
-You can press the play button if you would like to see what it will look like or otherwise just press the save button. (It looks like a floppy disk).

If you have Photoshop you can do this extra step.
-Open Photoshop and open your saved Gif.
-Click on the top layer and click the crop button.
-Change your settings depending on how big you want the gif. I'm going to make mine 400x250.
-Now, crop where you would like.
-Go to File>Save For Web. A big window should pop up. Make your settings like mine.
-Press Okay and choose where you want to save it.
-Now upload it to flickr, photobucket, tinypic exc.
yoooooooooooooour done!
Feel free to ask questions, I dont expect it will make much sence right now.
